Goran Sudžuka
1969–
Goran Sudžuka was born in 1969 in Zagreb, Croatia, and has built a reputation as a versatile comic book artist with a clean, expressive line. He is best known for his work on *Y: The Last Man*, where his detailed storytelling helped define the post-apocalyptic world of that acclaimed series. Sudžuka also contributed to *Hellblazer: Lady Constantine* and the supernatural heist series *Ghosted*, and his most credited titles include *Outlaw Nation*, *Wonder Woman*, *A Walk through Hell*, *Marjorie Finnegan, Temporal Criminal*, and *Gespenster Geschichten*.
His path into comics began in Croatia before he broke into the American market, and he has frequently collaborated with writers such as Brian K. Vaughan and Garth Ennis. Sudžuka often serves as artist, colorist, or inker, and his style balances clear, grounded figures with atmospheric shading. He co-created the series *Outlaw Nation* with writer Jamie Delano, and his work on *Y: The Last Man* remains a signature achievement. Active from 2000 to 2025, he has been credited on 144 issues. While major awards are not noted in available records, his consistent output and ability to handle both superhero and horror genres have made him a respected figure in modern comics.
