Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe Again #4

The Merc with a Mouth has apparently taken over the whole production — cover artist Dave Johnson places Deadpool perched in a director's chair, megaphone in hand, shouting "Cut!" over a heap of very defeated-looking Marvel heroes: Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, and Iron Man are all piled at his feet beneath the glare of film set lights and cameras. It's a wonderfully absurd visual gag that captures the self-aware, fourth-wall-demolishing spirit of this Cullen Bunn-written series perfectly. Issue #4 promises more of the gleefully unhinged mayhem that has defined this 2017 miniseries.
