Master of Kung Fu #2

Part of Marvel's 2015 Secret Wars Battleworld event, this second chapter of "Master's Son" drops Shang-Chi into a world where kung fu is everything — and the cover makes the stakes bracingly clear. Francesco Francavilla's artwork presents our bare-handed hero mid-kick against the looming, monstrous visage of a fearsome horned giant that fills the entire background, the fiery red palette giving the confrontation a furnace-like intensity. With Haden Blackman writing and Dalibor Talajić on interior art, this series is shaping up to be a gripping martial-arts showcase unlike anything else on Battleworld.
