Glenn Fabry's painted cover for this April 2001 Vertigo entry tells its story in quiet, unsettling detail — a blood-flecked man in profile stares at a police mugshot of himself, while a row of inky fingerprints lines the bottom of the image like evidence sealed in a case file.
