Amy Reeder
Amy Reeder (born August 25, 1980) is an American comic book artist and writer, formerly credited as Amy Reeder Hadley. She is best known for her work on *Madame Xanadu*, *Batwoman*, and *Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur*. Reeder first gained attention with the creator-owned series *Fool's Gold*, which led to her collaboration with writer Matt Wagner on the DC Vertigo series *Madame Xanadu*, where her elegant, expressive linework and strong storytelling earned critical praise. She later co-created the character of Batwoman with writer Greg Rucka, handling art on the acclaimed *Batwoman* series. With writer Brandon Montclare, Reeder co-created the all-ages series *Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur*, which became a hit and was adapted into an animated television series. She also wrote and drew the time-travel series *Rocket Girl* and contributed to *Amethyst* and *Ironheart*. Reeder’s style blends clean, dynamic figure work with a keen sense of design and color. She has been active in the industry from 2010 through the present, with over 50 credited issues. Her work has earned her multiple Eisner Award nominations and a Harvey Award nomination, and she remains a respected voice in modern superhero and fantasy comics.
