Part of Marvel's 2023 "Fall of X" era, this third issue of Jean Grey delivers a striking cover by Amy Reeder showing two pink-haired figures in fierce psychic combat — Jean herself, rendered large in the foreground in a teal and black costume, channels a blazing burst of telekinetic energy while a second, similarly red-haired figure surges forward through a storm of shattered debris to meet her. The mirror-image dynamic is both elegant and unsettling, perfectly suited to a story titled "Obsession." Writer Louise Simonson and artist Bernard Chang bring this charged chapter to life, with Marcelo Maiolo's colors lending the whole confrontation a vivid, electric tension.
