Part of DC's Wonder Comics imprint, Amethyst #6 wraps up its 2021 run with a cover by Amy Reeder that radiates pure magical intensity — Amethyst herself floats at the center, eyes closed in concentration, as brilliant pink-white energy blazes from her hands and forehead, light rays streaming outward in every direction against a deep purple backdrop. Her flowing lavender hair and dark caped wings frame the moment beautifully, giving the whole image a sense of hard-won power finally unleashed. Colorist Marissa Louise's luminous palette makes this one of the most visually striking covers of the series.
