Jean Grey #2

Part of Marvel's 2023 "Fall of X" storyline, this second issue of Louise Simonson's Jean Grey series centers on one of Marvel's most compelling relationships — and Amy Reeder's cover captures it beautifully. Jean and Cyclops are rendered in a tender, intimate pose, his visor ablaze with fiery energy that surges dramatically behind them both, the warm golds and purples giving the whole image a bittersweet, almost elegiac quality. With Bernard Chang on interiors and Marcelo Maiolo's colors, "Dead Reckoning" promises to be a visually striking chapter in Jean's ongoing story during one of the X-Men's most turbulent eras.
