Who is Nuklon?

Nuklon is Albert Rothstein, grandson of the Golden Age hero Atom Smasher (Cyclotron), who inherited his grandfather's ability to manipulate his own molecular structure, granting him superhuman size, strength, and density. He became a founding member of Infinity, Inc., the team of legacy heroes carrying on the Justice Society's tradition.

Nuklon burst onto the DC scene in 1984's Infinity, Inc. #4, a Bronze Age creation from the legendary team of Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas, and Jerry Ordway β€” and that debut alone carries collector-significant weight. Over four decades of publication history, this character has proven genuinely enduring, turning up across titles as varied as Infinity, Inc., Guy Gardner: Warrior, and Superman, which speaks to a remarkable range of storytelling company. Along the way, Nuklon shares adventures with some seriously impressive DC talent β€” Green Lantern, Jade, Jennie-Lynn Hayden, Obsidian, and Albert Rothstein among them β€” placing this character right at the heart of the DC universe's rich legacy tradition. For fans who love deep-cut characters with real staying power and Bronze Age roots, Nuklon is absolutely worth tracking down.
