Part of DC's sweeping 1985 Crisis crossover event, Infinity, Inc. #18 sends the villain group Helix to Hollywood in a cover that bursts with chaotic energy — a giant board game styled after a Hollywood street map serves as the battleground where a green-skinned woman with flowing dark hair, a winged figure, a skull-faced villain, a red-and-black costumed hero, and a cast of other colorful characters collide amid smoke, energy blasts, flying dice, and scattered cash. Cover pencils by Todd McFarlane (who also handles interior art) give every figure a kinetic, dynamic presence that leaps off the page. Writer Roy Thomas and the McFarlane/Pablo Marcos team make this a genuinely fun chapter of one of DC's more underappreciated team books from the mid-80s.
