The Jughead Jones Comics Digest #45
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA kitchen scene gone gloriously sideways anchors Dan DeCarlo's cover for this 128-page digest, as Jughead frantically operates a paper cutter on what appears to be a very large sandwich — sending two shocked girls and a bewildered Archie scrambling while someone in the background cheerfully asks, "Has anyone seen my paper cutter?!" It's the kind of wonderfully absurd domestic chaos that made Archie's Riverdale gang so endearing throughout the 1980s. With over a hundred pages of comics packed inside, this 1987 digest is a genuinely satisfying read for fans of Jughead's appetite-fueled misadventures.

Archie and Reggie decide to crash the girls' pajama party. Reggie knocks on the door jokingly telling the girls to open the door. Veronica asks what will happen if they don't, so Reggie jokingly says he'll huff and puff and blow the door down. Veronica opens the door, saying they'd better open up because Reggie has enough hot air to carry out his threat.
