Everything's Archie #39
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA ski trip gone hilariously sideways sets the tone for this 1975 Archie Comics gem. The cover — penciled by Dan DeCarlo and inked by Rudy Lapick — delivers a perfectly timed winter gag: a cheerful figure holds up a pair of skis announcing there's "not a single scratch" on them, while Archie has clearly just collided with a tree, dazed stars and colorful bursts swirling around his helmeted head. It's the kind of warm, expertly drawn slapstick that made the Archie gang such enduring company, and the story inside, "One of Those Days," promises more of the same cheerful chaos.
