About this Collection

This second volume of Geoff Johns' Flash Omnibus series collects the writer's later run on the character, featuring story arcs such as 'Rogue War' and 'The Secret of Barry Allen.' It includes issues where Wally West faces threats from the newly empowered Rogues, the return of classic villains like Captain Boomerang and the Top, and the deepening mystery of the Speed Force. The collection also features key appearances by Bart Allen, Jay Garrick, and a host of DC's speedsters, alongside the art of Howard Porter, Alberto Dose, and others.

In "Speeding Bullets," Geoff Johns and Scott Kolins deliver a gripping chapter of The Flash Omnibus that delves into the emotional weight of legacy and loss. As Zoom manipulates time to confront the Flash with painful memories, Wally West grapples with the past while teaming up with the other speedsters to uncover the truth—only to face a revelation that reshapes his understanding of who he is. The story unfolds with haunting precision, anchored by Kolins’ dynamic art and the haunting cover by Scott Kolins.

As Zoom tries to teach Flash about loss, he also open visions of significant moments of the past, including one which upsets him so much he flees. While Wally has a moment, he confers with the other speedsters, and Jay theorizes that Zoom has not tapped into the speed force, but into time itself. Taking the speed force from all the other speedsters, Wally is able to meet Zoom on his level, and traps him in one of Zoom's windows on the past. Finally, as Wally takes stock of the recent events of his life, he is visited by two old friends, and all knowledge of his dual identity is wiped away.
