About this Collection

This third omnibus volume collects Geoff Johns' celebrated run on The Flash, featuring the conclusion of his initial tenure on the series. It includes storylines such as 'Rogue War' and the lead-up to the 'Infinite Crisis' event, showcasing Johns' deep exploration of the Flash's rogues gallery and the legacy of the Speed Force. The collection gathers issues from The Flash (1987) #207-225, as well as tie-in material from other DC titles.

In "Ignition: Part One: Driven," Geoff Johns and Howard Porter deliver a pulse-pounding chapter of The Flash Omnibus that redefines the speedster’s legacy. Barry Allen confronts Professor Zoom in a high-stakes journey through time, where Wally’s desperate attempt to rewrite a tragic moment sets off a chain reaction with unforeseen consequences. The story unfolds with emotional weight and kinetic energy, all rendered in Michael Turner’s striking cover art.

Barry takes Professor Zoom back to his proper time period. Zoom and Wally return to the moment when Zoom caused Linda's miscarriage, but Wally subtly changes the events of that day. Zoom tries to use the Cosmic Treadmill against Wally without Professor Zoom, but since he is fueled by time, not the speed force, the treadmill explodes, taking Zoom with it. As the survivors take stock of their lives, the effects of Wally's efforts in the past take hold with happy results.
