☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join free"Empire's End" marks a pivotal moment in The Avengers' cosmic saga, as the fallout from the Nega-Bomb’s detonation leaves the Kree civilization in ruins. With Quasar arriving to find Thor alive and many Avengers dead, the team must confront the shocking truth: the Supreme Intelligence orchestrated the destruction to breed a stronger Kree race. Steve Epting’s dynamic art, with inks by Tom Palmer, captures the scale of the devastation, while Bob Harras’ writing sets up a moral crisis that divides the Avengers—especially when Iron Man leads a charge into the Kree citadel and Lilandra claims the empire’s remnants. The issue ends with a Skrull ship collecting a shard of the Supreme Intelligence, leaving the fate of the Kree—and the Avengers’ next move—hanging in the balance.
