In "Bad Judgment," the Avengers face a high-stakes diplomatic mission when they meet with Shi'ar Empress Lilandra to discuss the escalating war between the Shi'ar and the Kree—only to find their efforts derailed by conflicting loyalties. When the Kree Starforce attacks to assassinate Lilandra, the Avengers and the Imperial Guard must unite to repel the assault, but the crisis takes a dangerous turn when Lilandra unknowingly recalls her Nega-Portal, which has already been stolen by the Skrulls. In "Now Strikes the Starforce!" from Avengers: Galactic Storm #2, the Avengers find themselves caught between the escalating tensions of the Shi'ar and Kree empires, summoned to meet with Emperor Lilandra. When the Kree Starforce attacks her throne room, the Avengers and the Imperial Guard must unite to repel the assault—just as a far more dangerous threat begins to unfold.
In "Murder by Decree!", Captain America finds himself trapped in the Kree Empire, standing before the Supreme Intelligence as the ultimate test. Forced to battle six of his greatest enemies in a brutal arena, he must survive not just the fight, but the sinister plan to absorb his essence—while holding onto his own will.
In "Shi'ar Hatred!", the Avengers find themselves caught in a galactic storm as the Shi'ar Empire teeters on the edge of war. With the Kree Starforce imprisoned, Earth in peril from a rogue stargate, and the Nega-Bomb vanished, the Avengers clash with the Imperial Guard—until a shocking betrayal reveals a Skrull in Lilandra’s inner circle. As tensions peak, Lilandra sends Ultimus to the Kree to seek peace, while Quasar delivers a crucial lead: the Nega-Bomb has been located.
In "The Scorched Sun," as Earth's sun begins to vanish under the devouring pull of antimatter unleashed by the Nega-Bomb, Quasar faces an impossible choice—let the bomb pass through the stargate or risk total annihilation. With time running out, Wendell attempts to redirect the blast into the Quantum Zone, but it's Binary who must step in, pushing her limits to save the sun, her body strained to the breaking point.
In "Big Decisions," Wonder Man and the Vision face a dire crisis aboard the stolen Nega-Bomb, now hurtling through Kree space as the Skrulls' scheme unfolds. With the Avengers closing in, the fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance as two heroes must make impossible choices under pressure.
In "Empire's End," the aftermath of the Nega-Bomb’s detonation leaves the Kree Empire in ruins, with Quasar arriving to find Thor alive and most of the Avengers dead. As surviving heroes like Captain America, Vision, and Wonder Man are revived from stasis, they uncover the Supreme Intelligence’s twisted plan to forge a stronger Kree race—only to face the final reckoning when Atlas self-destructs and Iron Man leads a charge into the Kree citadel. With Lilandra stepping forward to claim the shattered remnants of the empire, the Avengers prepare to return home, unaware that a Skrull vessel has already begun collecting the pieces of the Intelligence’s shattered legacy.
In "After the Storm," Cap wrestles with doubt after the fallout from the Galactic Storm, questioning his role within the Avengers. Clint takes him to a quiet bar for a much-needed break, where Tony joins them for a rare, candid conversation. Meanwhile, Crossbones has Diamondback cornered in a hidden bunker, setting the stage for a tense confrontation.
In "Empire of Dust," Quasar leaves the Avengers to journey with Makkari and Her to Hala, seeking survivors of the Nega-Bomb’s devastation. There, they confront the enigmatic Mourners and uncover the mysterious fate of the Kree souls, diving into a mystery that tests their resolve and ties them to a forgotten legacy.
In "Soul Cage," Makkari and Her are ensnared within the Soul-Eater, a living prison of stolen souls, as Quasar races to free them and the billions of Kree souls trapped inside. With the fate of countless lives hanging in the balance, Wendell steps forward, challenging the souls’ belief in their purpose—urging them to reject their role in death and seek peace in the afterlife.
