The Amazing Spider-Man #598
In "American Son Part 4," Spider-Man is captured and tortured by Norman Osborn, who has his son Harry betray him. With his mask refusing to come off, Hawkeye prepares to end the fight—until Norman finds a way to slowly dissolve the mask, threatening to expose Spider-Man’s identity. Just as the moment seems hopeless, Harry, having discovered a serum that could cure Lily of her Menace persona, steps in—only to find she doesn’t want to be cured. Armed with the American Son armor, Harry arrives to save Spidey. Written by Joe Kelly and illustrated by Paulo Siqueira and Marco Checchetto, with inks by Siqueira, Checchetto, and Amilton Santos, colors by Jeromy Cox and Chris Chuckry, and letters by VC's Chris Eliopoulos, the cover by Phil Jimenez and Andy Lanning captures the intensity of the moment.
