As Peter struggles with the fact that Mary Jane knows he is Spider-Man, she opens up for the first time and tells him her family's history full of heartbreak, abuse and abandonment. Mr. Fantastic tries to communicate telepathically with Spider-Man's alien costume but has no success. Hobgoblin demands a cut of crime operations all over the city to sweeten his new business deal with the Rose. He then sets his sights on Harry Osborn. Learning that the Hobgoblin is still alive, Peter dons his classic red and blue costume as Spider-Man and prepares to face his old foe.
