“Gemini”

In "Gemini," Geoff Johns and Ben Raab kick off a gripping mystery with Beast Boy caught in a web of deception, as Nightwing quickly realizes the Beast Boy on the streets isn't the real one. With Flamebird arriving to aid the fight and the impostor fleeing, Gar (Beast Boy) and Matt team up to follow a cryptic clue leading to Chinatown—where they confront the shadowy figure behind the original Doom Patrol's demise: Madame Rouge. Justiniano's dynamic art, with inks by Chris Ivy and colors by Jason Wright, brings the tension to life, while the cover by Justiniano captures the issue’s eerie, high-stakes atmosphere.

Soon into their encounter, Nightwing deduces that it is not the real Beast Boy threatening Don Dickerson. When news of their battle reaches Police Headquarters, Flamebird rushes over to join the fight, but the impostor Beast Boy flees the scene. After Nightwing bails out Gar and Matt, Gar insists on getting to the bottom of the case on his own, and with help from Matt in deciphering a clue, heads to Chinatown where he apparently finds Madame Rouge, the person responsible for the deaths of the original Doom Patrol.
