The villains of the world react to Superman revealing to the world that he is Clark Kent. Lex Luthor is humilated that he was unaware of the secret. Toyman decides to give up crime and go straight and is recruited by Checkmate. Mongul cannot comprehend how Superman could pretend to be human to blend in instead of ruling the Earth, however Mongul's son kills him and takes his place. An infected Supergirl begins her plan to "save" the world. Meanwhile in Metropolis, Clark, Lois, and Perry struggle with having to publish evidence that Marison Leone is the head of the Invisible Mafia.
