“Let's Get Small”

Sonic finds himself in truly strange territory on the cover of this April 1996 Archie adventure — Pat Spaziante and Brian Thomas place the blue hedgehog knee-deep in a bubbling, otherworldly landscape of grotesque yellow and pink organic masses, his expression caught somewhere between alarm and wide-eyed disbelief. The cover teaser promises you'll "never guess where Sonic battles this time," and honestly, looking at that surreal, dripping environment, it's hard to argue. As a bonus, fans of the echidna with the attitude will be glad to know a Knuckles solo story is tucked inside as well.
