Snively
Snively is the scheming, subservient nephew of the tyrannical Dr. Robotnik, serving under his uncle's iron rule in the Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog series. Resentful and cunning, he carries out Robotnik's orders while quietly nursing his own ambitions for power.
Few characters in Archie's long-running Sonic the Hedgehog universe proved as persistently compelling as Snively, who made his debut in issue #9 back in 1994, courtesy of creators Angelo DeCesare and Dave Manak. Over a remarkable twenty-year stretch through 2014, this Modern Age schemer carved out a niche across Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Super Special, and Sonic Super Digest, racking up 43 catalog appearances alongside heavy hitters like Sonic himself, Princess Sally Acorn, Miles "Tails" Prower, and Antoine D'Coolette. Two of those appearances carry key-issue status, a mark of genuine collector significance that speaks to Snively's real impact on the mythology. If you love the rich, sprawling world Archie built around Mobius, Snively is exactly the kind of recurring presence that rewards deep reading.

Trivia
- Archie's Snively carved out a pivotal role in the comic's political intrigue, most notably engineering his own uncle's downfall by reprogramming the Ultimate Annihilator and triggering a major succession crisis in the process.villains.fandom.com
