Havoc in the Hidden City" sets the tone perfectly with a cover that puts Dragon — green-skinned and massive — at the center of a frenzied brawl, trading blows with a hulking blue armored enemy amid explosive bursts and jagged rocky surroundings. A smaller inset circle in the corner hints at even more action in store, while the bold yellow-and-pink logo does exactly what it needs to do: grab you immediately. Erik Larsen's cover linework crackles with kinetic energy, and with colorists Reuben Rude and Abel Mouton lending their vivid palette, this 2001 Image Comics entry in the long-running series looks every bit as rowdy as its title promises.
