With gravity working backwards and enemies at every turn, Flatfoot must find a way to blast through the globe and return the Navy to the surface.
Burp the Twerp's extraordinary hearing picks up a heated conversation from across the globe, leading him to the North Pole where he discovers the source of those booming voices—only to find himself in an awkward spot when he finally comes face-to-face with the speakers. This one-page humor story plays the gag for all it's worth in true wartime comic fashion.
When a gang of ruthless Parisian criminals calling themselves the Apaches arrives in America to prey on wealthy targets, the police find themselves outmaneuvered at every turn—until Destiny, a crime-fighter with an uncanny ability to sense danger, picks up their trail. As the gang plots to kidnap a wealthy businessman working on important war efforts, Destiny must navigate the city's shadowy sewers and confront the killers before they can slip away again.
