Part three of the "Planet X" arc finds Beast front and center — crouched low, fangs bared, claws at the ready against a backdrop of glowing monitor screens. Phil Jimenez and Andy Lanning render Henry McCoy in his feral, leonine form with real physical menace, every muscle coiled and those golden eyes burning with intensity. Grant Morrison's run on New X-Men was consistently pushing the team into unsettling new territory, and this cover makes clear that the pressure is only mounting at the series' midpoint.
