Master of Kung Fu #47
In "Part III (Leiko Wu): Phantom Sand," the icy grip of Fu Manchu’s citadel tightens as Leiko Wu and Shang-Chi evade capture, their escape complicated by the arrival of the stranded Larner and Reston—and the unsettling presence of Ducharme, whose loyalties remain uncertain. With Nayland Smith still alive and Dr. Petrie being reprogrammed, the shadow of the ancient warlord Shaka Kharn stirs beneath the frozen wastes, setting the stage for a clash of legacy and vengeance. Written by Doug Moench and brought to life with striking detail by Paul Gulacy, with inks by Pablo Marcos and colors by Hugh Paley, this 1976 issue features a cover by Dave Cockrum that captures the tension in every line.
