Während Captain America trainiert, taucht Nick Fury auf und sucht nach Infos über die Geheimorganisation THEM. Ein fliegendes Raumschiff landet vor der Rächer Anwesen, und ein Androide greift an. In einem Labor beobachten Mitglieder von THEM auf Bildschirmen ein Bataillon von Androiden, die in einem Garten wachsen. Cap und Fury gelingt es gerade noch, den Androiden aufzuhalten. Fury sagt Captain America, dass dies die Aufgabe von SHIELD ist und er sich da raushalten soll. Aber er gibt Cap einen SHIELD Ausweis, damit er in Zukunft leichter Kontakt aufnehmen kann.
