Marvel's Greatest Comics #27
"Calamity on the Campus!" is a standout tale from Marvel's Greatest Comics #27, a 1970 25-cent gem featuring a rare collaboration by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko on writing duties, with Ditko handling art, inks, and letters. In a story that blends mysticism and psychological tension, Dr. Strange confronts cosmic forces and his own doubts as Eternity tests his resolve, only to find his greatest challenge lies not in power, but in purpose. The cover by Jack Kirby and John Verpoorten captures the surreal intensity of the moment, perfectly framing the mystery that unfolds within.
