In "The Magic Spell," a young couple’s move into a suspiciously eerie apartment building takes a darkly comedic turn as the pregnant wife grows increasingly uneasy about the strange neighbors and the unsettling atmosphere. Written by Arnie Kogen and illustrated with sharp, expressive flair by Mort Drucker, this EC Comics satire plays on the paranoia of "Rosemary's Baby" with a wink and a smirk.
