Mad Special [Mad Super Special] #9

Jan 1972 · EC · 0.60 USD
“Don Martin Tries 8 New Ways to Fly”

"Don Martin Tries 8 New Ways to Fly" is a standout gag strip from Mad Special #9, a 1972 60-cent comic featuring the inimitable humor of Antonio Prohías, who wrote, drew, and inked the entire story. The issue's cover, by Norman Mingo, captures the absurd energy of the era, while inside, a classic spy farce unfolds with a perfectly timed plunger prank that sends the White Spy tumbling—just one of eight hilariously doomed attempts to fly.
