Legion of Super-Heroes #15

The cover of Legion of Super-Heroes #15 (October 1985) sets a fiery tone immediately, with a blazing inferno of red and yellow flames framing a tense scene straight from the story title's promise: "Hostage on a Hostile Star!" Steve Lightle's cover art places a menacing yellow-and-black armored figure front and center, while a massive purple-helmeted villain looms behind, clutching Legion members — including a woman in pink and a figure in red-and-white — as a purple-clad Legionnaire charges in from the left and a tiny figure darts through the chaos at right.
