Legion of Super-Heroes #33

Chapter 2 of "The Universo Project" kicks off in April 1987 with a cover by Steve Lightle that puts the Legion through their paces against a massive, menacing blue robot tearing through rock and debris. Several Legionnaires — including a white-costumed figure wielding a sword, a gold-armored hero, a purple-suited member watching from the sideline, and others firing energy blasts — are locked in fierce combat with the hulking machine. Paul Levitz, Greg LaRocque, and Mike DeCarlo deliver the interior, making this a compelling chapter in one of the Legion's most ambitious multi-part storylines of the decade.
