☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeAt 320 giant-sized pages, this 2014 digest offers serious value for fans of Riverdale's most beloved duo. The cover by penciler Jeff Shultz and inker Bob Smith puts Jughead — crown and all, arms smugly folded in his red "S" sweater — side by side with a grinning, freckled Archie in his varsity-style "D" vest, the two looking like they're thoroughly pleased with themselves against a bold yellow backdrop. With a story title like "The Old Shell Game or: A Hair-Brained Turtle Race" already promising laughs, this jumbo collection is a genuinely fun package for anyone who loves classic Archie hijinks.

Jughead hurts Bruinhilda's feelings by commenting on her weight. He makes it up by taking her to the picnic. Because of her weight, they have trouble getting to the island by boat, so they take a raft. Once there, Bruinhilda goes to get the lunches from the boat Archie and Veronica had taken to the island, and she breaks the dock, drifting back out with the boat. When Jughead hears that the lunches are drifting away with the boat, he saves the boat and Bruinhilda with it, earning her gratitude and her lunch as well. The lunch turns out to be one sandwich each, to Jughead's disappointment.
