Jughead has cooked up a scheme only he could dream of — the cover of issue #297 shows him pitching "a book with the phone number of every girl in town" to an eager Archie, while a third fellow eagerly shouts "I'll buy it!" from across the street. The multi-panel cover also teases Jughead clutching what appears to be the Riverdale Phone Directory outside Pop's, leaving Archie looking thoroughly amused and a blonde onlooker nearby.
