In "Back Attack," Archie #513 (2001), Mr. Lodge’s worsening back pain turns him into an even more grumpy version of himself, pushing Archie to try Jughead’s wild idea: a magnet belt to ease the ache. What starts as a well-meaning fix quickly spirals when the magnets’ power goes haywire, pulling metal objects from every corner of the house—leading to a series of chaotic mishaps. Written by Craig Boldman and illustrated by Stan Goldberg, with inks by Bob Smith, colors by Barry Grossman, and letters by Bill Yoshida, the cover by Goldberg and Smith captures the absurd tension perfectly.
