“Plymouth Car Show”

In "Plymouth Car Show," two sailors from a sunken destroyer, Adams and Sawyer, drift for days before boarding a ghostly sailing ship that shouldn’t exist—its rotting decks and silent crew hinting at a centuries-old curse. As they uncover a Dutch-language book that confirms their nightmare, the ship’s secrets begin to unravel, leaving them stranded in the sea once more. Written by Jack Oleck and illustrated with eerie precision by Steve Ditko—whose distinctive pencils and inks define the cover and interior—this haunting tale blends maritime mystery with a chilling twist on time and survival.

The American Destroyer Jeffries is torpedoed. Adams and Sawyer float for six days in a lifeboat until they see an old sailing ship. They climb aboard carefully as the ropes and wood are rotten. They walk the decks without the crew seeing them. They find a book written in Dutch - they are on board the Flying Dutchman. They decide to escape and fall in to the sea when a railing breaks away. They float for days clutching the railing. They are picked up by a Navy cruiser. Their papers show they were crew on the Jeffries which sank in WWI! So, where have they been since 1918?
