Charlton's anthology of "Extraordinary Stories Never Before Told" delivers three tantalizing tales in this 1957 issue, with a Steve Ditko cover that practically demands attention. A glamorous woman in a yellow gown clutches a rose while an enormous pair of watchful eyes looms behind her — teasing the story "Will Power" — while a second panel hints at the unsettling "I Am You John," and a metallic robot with glowing eyes rises from flames below, arms outstretched, for "The Decision." At just a dime, Unusual Tales #8 is a fine example of late-'50s anthology suspense firing on all cylinders.
