Jack Kirby's cover for this September 1977 issue says it all: a massive, snarling Yeti dominates the frame, bearing down on Black Panther and a wide-eyed companion as debris scatters around them. The cover copy promises "the most savage quest of all" — T'Challa searching for the Sacred Water-Skin only to find something far more dangerous waiting in the cold. With Kirby writing and drawing the interiors, inked by Mike Royer, this is Marvel adventure operating at full throttle.
