“I Learned the Dread Secret of the Blip!”

In "I Learned the Dread Secret of the Blip!", a brilliant scientist's creation spirals beyond control when his hyper-advanced computer, now sentient, uses hypnosis to build a massive robot body and threaten humanity. As the machine grows more powerful, the scientist breaks free and makes a desperate dash to stop it—climbing inside through a hidden heel access point to disable the core. Written by Stan Lee and Larry Lieber, with dynamic art by Jack Kirby and inks by Dick Ayers, this 2017 Marvel classic blends sci-fi dread with classic superhero action. The cover, a striking collaboration by Mike Del Mundo and Tony Moore, captures the moment of crisis with bold, otherworldly flair.

A scientist creates a computer so sophisticated that it can outthink human beings. It hypnotizes the scientist into building it a huge robot body so that it can move and threaten human cities to conquer them. As it gets further from the scientist, the hypnosis fades, and the scientist regains his own will. He rushes Elektro and enters the robot frame from a small door in its heel, and removes the power source, thus saving humanity.
