Black Panther #1
In "King Solomon's Frog!", Black Panther teams up with Abner Little, a fellow Collector, to reclaim the Brass Frog—an ancient time machine hidden away by Black Panther’s grandfather, Azzuri. When the artifact is stolen by Alfred Queely, the duo races to recover it, only to be ambushed by Princess Zanda, another Collector seeking control. The Frog activates during the clash, unleashing the enigmatic Hatch-22. Written and illustrated by Jack Kirby, with inks by Mike Royer, colors by Dave Hunt, and letters by Mike Royer, the cover by Jack Kirby and John Verpoorten captures the mystery and urgency of the quest.
