The Avengers are given an audience with Lilandra to discuss the Shi'ar/Kree war that is brewing, but they are unable to come to a meeting of the minds. The Kree Starforce arrives to kill Lilandra, but the Avengers and the Imperial Guard defeat them. Lilandra recalls her Nega-Portal (actually a bomb), unaware that it has been stolen by the Skrulls.
