Banned from the lab, Archie’s attempt to make amends by polishing Mr. Weatherbee’s desk takes a disastrous turn when a splash of acid in the varnish melts the furniture—and the brushes too. Written by Frank Doyle and illustrated by Harry Lucey, with inks by Mario Acquaviva, this classic mishap-filled tale features a cover by Stan Goldberg and Bob Smith.
Archie sets out through a raging blizzard determined to see Veronica, only to discover her and her family have fled to the Bahamas—leaving him stranded in the snow with nothing but a broken-down car and a heart full of winter.
Archie’s latest science experiment takes a disastrous turn when a spilled beaker of acid melts through the chemistry lab floor. With the lab off-limits, he’s assigned to clean Mr. Weatherbee’s desk and chair—only to accidentally mix a splash of acid into the varnish, setting off a new wave of chaos.
When Mr. Flutesnoot expresses his frustration over The Archies' lack of appreciation for classical music, Archie takes it upon himself to show the band’s true potential—leading to a hilariously off-key attempt to rock out with a symphonic twist.
When Jughead’s tape recorder accidentally captures Archie volunteering to teach Sharon how to ski, the recording ends up in the wrong hands—specifically, Rocco’s. Now caught between a prank and a misunderstanding, Archie must figure out how to clear the air before jealousy turns into chaos.
When Flutesnoot reluctantly lets Little Archie and Jughead join the school orchestra, he assigns them just one note—hoping they’ll keep it simple. But with their usual antics and musical chaos, even a single note might be too much to handle.
In "Comedy Caper," the gang dives into a lighthearted movie-making spree, turning the schoolyard into a silent-film stage. When Miss Grundy volunteers for a pie-throwing stunt, her aim takes an unexpected turn—landing squarely on Mr. Weatherbee instead of Jughead.
In "Paint, Pears and Pallet," Ronnie proudly displays her latest artwork to her friends, including the delightfully absurd "A Bowl of Pears After Jughead Has Seen It," complete with her signature flourish—applied using the enormous brush that’s practically a character in itself.
In "This Is Your Life," Mr. Weatherbee finds himself questioning the meaning of it all—until Archie steps in with a heartfelt, if slightly chaotic, reminder of the impact he's had on Riverdale High's students. Through a series of flashbacks, Archie shows the principal how his guidance shaped the lives of those who’ve gone on to achieve great things.
