“Till We Meet Again”

A camping trip gone gloriously wrong is the premise on display in Archie and Me #103. The cover shows Archie confidently wielding an axe to chop firewood while, behind him, a fallen log has completely flattened a tent — trapping a very alarmed Jughead underneath it — as a third friend peers out from a nearby yellow tent with a look of wide-eyed concern. It's the kind of cheerful, everyday disaster that made this series such a warm staple of 1978 Archie comics.

writer George Gladir · artist Bob Bolling · inker Rudy Lapick · colorist Barry Grossman · letterer Bill Yoshida
