In "Smear Campaign," Betty and Veronica put Reggie to the test as a guinea pig in their quest for smear-proof lipstick, turning his usually smooth-talking charm into a lab subject. When Betty suggests trying the formula on Archie next, Veronica steps in with a firm no—leaving the outcome of the experiment, and the fate of Archie’s lips, hanging in the balance.

In "Test of the Town," Archie and the gang are furious at Miss Grundy for her strict ways—until Jughead learns she might lose her job if her class fails the next day’s test. With a mischievous plan to skip studying and "save" themselves from her, they quickly rethink their approach when guilt sets in. That night, they end up at Jughead’s house, united in a surprisingly earnest effort to study—just in time for the test.

In "Gripe Sniper," Mr. Weatherbee, ever the vigilant authority, sets up a hidden microphone under the lunch bench to eavesdrop on Archie and Jughead’s plans—only to discover they’re plotting to skip school for ice-skating. Determined to catch them in the act, he stakes out the frozen pond at dawn, but his carefully laid trap quickly unravels in classic teen chaos.

Betty points out that Archie’s car could use a good cleaning, sparking a well-intentioned but hilariously clumsy attempt to shine it up. Armed with a can of polish, Archie’s enthusiasm quickly fades when he gets stuck wrestling with the stubborn lid—leaving him too worn out to even start the job.

In "Watch the Birdie," Archie, Jughead, and Mr. Weatherbee head out for a casual bird-watching trip, only to find their peaceful outing turned into a test of wits when they can’t agree on what kind of bird they’ve spotted. Mr. Weatherbee, ever the show-off, bets a dollar on his identification—only to have the bird itself steal the cash right out of his hand, leaving the trio stunned and the bet very much unresolved.
