Archie #11
In "Toney Phonies!", Archie’s attempt to help Betty and Jughead prep for a backyard barbeque takes a surprising turn when Veronica reveals she’s hosting a fancy catered event for the same evening. Reluctantly joining her, Archie, Betty, and Jughead find themselves out of place among Veronica’s pretentious friends—until a shared craving for something simple leads them to swap the high-end party for a cozy wiener roast in Betty’s backyard.
Archie becomes fascinated by a small Buddha statue he admires, only to learn from Veronica that it’s part of a pair—worth little without its twin. When he spots a nearly identical figurine at Betty’s, he’s convinced he’s found the missing match, setting off a quiet rivalry between the two girls over the mysterious second statue.
