Archie 1000 Page Comics Jam #[nn]
A full thousand pages of Riverdale fun for just $14.99 — this 2015 Archie Comics anthology packs over 100 classic stories into one gloriously oversized volume. Dan Parent's cover sets the mood perfectly, with an arms-wide, ear-to-ear grinning Archie in his "R" letterman tee flanked by a beaming Veronica on the left and Betty on the right, with the two of them also peeking in cheerfully from the corners above. It's the whole gang in one jubilant snapshot, and with Bob Bolling handling writing, art, inking, and lettering on "Wet and Wild!" among the many stories inside, this jam is a genuine celebration of everything that makes Archie Comics so enduringly fun.

When Betty and Ronnie comment on how lazy Betty's cat Caramel is, Caramel reveals that she has the ability to talk to them (but only while they're still small children). Caramel tells them the story of her life: she had three kittens and lived with them in an old abandoned house. When the house was destroyed, the four cats set off on a journey across America, where Caramel found homes for each of her children -- and almost lost her own life in the process.
