In "A Parting of the Ways!", the reassembled Justice Society of America begins to disband, leaving Huntress and Wildcat alone in their headquarters—where a quiet moment takes a sudden turn when Wildcat reveals he knows her secret identity. Before they can process it, a frantic distress call from Star Spangled Kid interrupts them, as he faces a new threat: Strike Force, with no other JSA members able to respond. As the briefly reunited JSAers go their separate ways, Huntress and Wildcat are left alone in headquarters, as she learns that he knows her true secret identity. However, they are interrupted when Star Spangled Kid sends out a distress call as he's fighting a new foe: Strike Force, and no one else has answered the call due to personal reasons.
