“The Deadliest Game in Town!”

In "The Deadliest Game in Town!", newly joined Huntress teams up with Wildcat to rescue Star Spangled Kid from the menacing Strike Force—only to uncover a twist neither expected. Written by Paul Levitz and illustrated by Joe Staton, with inks by Bob Layton and colors by Adrienne Roy, this 1978 DC classic sees the heroes confront a hidden enemy within the Kid’s own legacy, leading to a dramatic parting as he sets out to reclaim his past. The cover by Joe Staton and Dick Giordano captures the tension perfectly.
