Jason Latour
Jason Latour was born David Jason Latour on August 29, 1977, in the United States. He is best known as both a writer and artist across Image Comics, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Comics, and DC Comics. Latour entered the industry in the early 2000s, building a reputation for a raw, expressive style that suited both gritty crime stories and superhero adventures. His most famous co-creation is the alternate-reality Spider-Woman, Gwen Stacy of Earth-65, who debuted in *Spider-Gwen* and later became a breakout character in the *Spider-Verse* film franchise. He also co-created the acclaimed Southern crime series *Southern Bastards* with Jason Aaron. Latour’s credits as an artist include work on *Winter Soldier*, *Wolverine & the X-Men*, and the adaptation *Django Unchained*, while his writing and art also appeared on *Loose Ends*. His career was active from 2003 to 2022, during which he contributed to over 100 issues as an artist, colorist, inker, letterer, or writer.
