Spider-Gwen #3

Issue three of Radioactive Spider-Gwen arrives with one of the more quietly striking covers of 2016: a luminous, larger-than-life Gwen Stacy in her white spider-suit looms ghost-like over a neon-blurred cityscape, while a visibly pregnant woman in a red Spider-Woman costume stands small but resolute in the foreground. The contrast between the two figures — one radiant and towering, one grounded and vulnerable — gives Robbi Rodriguez's composition a haunting emotional weight that's hard to shake. Latour, Rodriguez, and Renzi are in fine form here, and "Greater Power Part Three" looks every bit as layered and personal as that title suggests.
